Randy Orton Undergoes Knee Surgery, Return Timeline Details

Randy Orton has needed knee surgery since late last year, and WWE.com now reports that he has successfully undergone surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear.

 


 

The Viper had reportedly wrestled through several matches with the injury, until his most-recent match at Backlash where he lost to Jeff Hardy.

Randy Orton’s return date?

Although WWE didn’t reveal any other details on Orton’s recovery timeline, F4WOnline.com reports that he’s expected to return in time for WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view in August.

Orton is currently home in St. Louis recovering, and told WWE.com he is “staying motivated to come back and dominate the blue brand.”
