Raw match reportedly nixed due to Seth Rollins’ injury

Seth Rollins completed his heel turn and formed a faction with Authors of Pain on this week’s episode of Raw but it appears that the original plans for the show were different.

Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, The Architect was originally expected to compete in a singles match against Cedric Alexander on the show.

However, Rollins suffered a broken finger during his street fight with Erick Rowan at Sunday’s WWE Live Event from Augusta, Georgia.

Due to this injury, the company nixed the plans for the bout which was originally expected to be another step towards the former Shield member’s heel turn.

The report also noted that WWE has confirmed F4Wonline.com that Seth Rollins has been cleared to compete moving forward. Though so far there is no word on if he will be wrestling at the upcoming TLC PPV.
