While the majority of the fans are happy with the Shield Reunion, many believe that it would have been better if these three would have reunited in the wake of a more serious threat than the team of The Bar and The Miz.
Now it appears that the Officials also believe that the Shield should reunite against a stronger team and they might be adding another top Raw Star into this rivalry.
In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer speculated that Braun Strowman could replace Miz in the rumored match against Shield or he could simply be added to the bout making it a 3 on 4 handicap match.
This doesn’t appear to a far-fetched possibility as Strowman is already considered the arch-rival of Roman Reigns and he has had matches with both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in the last few weeks.
If Braun ends up replacing the Miz then it can also open the door for a separate Intercontinental Championship match at the show which wouldn’t be a bad idea in the absence of the Universal Championship on the card.
Though currently nothing is set in stone and it’d be interesting to see which way this rivalry is headed to and who actually turns out to be the opponent of the Shield.
