Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto seems to have suffered an injury during the RAW vs SmackDown 10-Team Elimination match in the Survivor Series kick-off pre-show.
There was a moment in the match where there was a switch up between the members of Lucha House Party. This is why Kalisto got down from the apron and Gran Metalik took his place in the match.
Dave Meltzer reported on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the RAW Superstar indeed suffered an injury mid-match. The high-flying Kalisto suffered a knee injury and therefore switched places with Gran Metalik during the tag match.
WWE is yet to make an official announcement regarding Kalisto’s injury. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes out in the next few days.
