Raw viewership drops further, sets new record

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was the first episode of the show to be aired live in the past few weeks but it still saw a decline in the ratings.

This week’s episode of the show which saw the new WWE Champion Drew McIntyre defeating Angel Garza in the main event drew an average of 1.842 million viewers on the USA Network, according to Showbuzz Daily.

This is a 3.7% decline from last week’s episode of the show which had drawn 1.913 million viewers. This is also the lowest nonholiday week Raw ratings in the history of the show.

The first hour of the show drew 1.940 million viewers and the second hour dropped to 1.866 million viewers. The third hour then saw another drop and it only brought in 1.720 million viewers.

As we noted before, the SmackDown episode last week also saw a decline in viewership and with the company returning to taped shows, the numbers are only expected to get worse in the coming times.
