Alexa Bliss hasn’t been wrestling much in recent months and just when it appeared that she is back on track, the former Women’s Champion confronted another roadblock.
As we noted before, WWE announced yesterday that Alexa Bliss is being removed from the Women’s Money In The Bank match because she is not medically cleared.
While the company didn’t reveal the specific details regarding her health, PWInsider has now revealed that Bliss suffered a concussion sometime recently and this is the reason why she was removed from the bout.
However the details of when or where she suffered the injury are unknown so it’s hard to say how long it will take before the former Champion returns to in-ring action.
As noted before, Nikki Cross was announced as Alexa Bliss’ replacement for Money In The Bank and she will now be competing alongside Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Ember Moon, and Carmella for the briefcase this Sunday.
