Recap Of Mick Foley’s Appearance On SportsCenter

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Tuesday to talk to Jonathan Coachman about WrestleMania 32. There was a highlight reel of the top five moments of Monday’s episode of RAW.

Foley was asked about his favorite WrestleMania moment. He said that the Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat match at WrestleMania 3 and the Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart match at WrestleMania 13 was his favorite WrestleMania matches. Foley explained that he felt a lot of pressure going into his WrestleMania 22 match with Edge because he wanted to have a WrestleMania moment.

Coachman asked Foley about the Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 32. Foley believes the match works because of the two stars in it and the cell itself. Shane is willing to do anything, Foley said. When asked about which character he loved playing the most? Cactus Jack, Mankind or Dude Love. Foley told Coachman that he actually had four characters. Foley said that his fourth character, which was the WWE Commissioner in the early 2000’s was his favorite character.

Coachman brought up how Foley connected with the fans. Foley said that he did what he could and connected with them in a real way. Foley always wanted to tell a story that the fans could connect with.

Foley thanked ESPN for having him on the show, and this wrapped up the segment.
