Recently released WWE star says he “might never wrestle again”

WWE released more than a dozen stars from their contracts last month and now one of them is teasing retirement from the wrestling business altogether.

Former Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush recently took on his twitter and made the following tweet, claiming that he might never wrestle again:

There is no word yet on what he is planning to do in his future but the former NXT star has been promoting his hip hop career from his Twitter account recently.

He is also releasing an album and the album from the former WWE star titled Ever After is expected to be released on this Monday on May 11.

Lio Rush had been a controversial figure during his time in WWE. He called out the management over his pay in multiple interviews and there were reports of his negative backstage attitude.

He was signed by the company in 2017. He looked to be doing good after being moved back to NXT but he was surprisingly released from the company in April this year.
