Renee Young not contacted by any top WWE executives after COVID-19 diagnosis, officials not happy (UPDATED)

Like many other WWE employees, Renee Young has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. After her diagnosis, her husband Jon Moxley was also pulled from his scheduled AEW Dynamite appearance.

Now, Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Newsletter that neither Triple H, Vince McMahon, or Mark Carrano (head of Talent Relations in WWE) have contacted Renee Young to check up on her. However, the report notes that a lot of other WWE Superstars contacted Young to inquire about her health.

Others like WWE Producers Jamie Noble & Adam Pearce and Backstage Interviewer Kayla Braxton have all tested positive for the virus. We hope that all these men & women make a speedy recovery from the virus.

UPDATE: Metzer also has said that company officials are not happy that Young shared her diagnosis with the world, and her tweet reportedly “did not go over well.” In relation to the whole situation, a developmental talent sent an anonymous letter to Wrestling Inc saying that talent has been forbidden to reveal personal test results to anyone apart from who they live with:

“Now that WWE has more talent and staffers starting to test positive, we’ve been informed by talent relations not to discuss our illness with anyone besides those we live with that may need to know. We are FORBIDDEN to tell anyone else nor can we come out publicly to make any statements. It was stressed that WWE will take care of any medical treatments, should we need them. In the same breath it was made clear the company would handle the PR and only those that needed to know about our condition would know as HIPAA laws would prevent them from making our names public.”
