Owing to a knee injury, Kevin Owens was pulled out of the Mixed Match Challenge, where he was paired up with Natalya. With Owens not returning to the ring for at least 4-8 months, the WWE announced the replacement for The Prizefighter.
This year’s edition of the competition has seen it’s fair share of injuries with Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks already ruled out, only to be replaced with Ember Moon and Mickie James respectively.
Bobby Roode will team up with Natalya for the rest of the Mixed Match Challenge. The team commented that they will retain the name “Team Pawz” with Bobby Roode sending out a tweet as well. Check out WWE’s announcement video and Bobby Roode’s post below.
