Reported reason why Vince McMahon decided on not changing WrestleMania date

As reported earlier, WWE has decided to run it’s biggest show of the year aka WrestleMania from its Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This decision has come amidst the rampant spread of the Coronavirus throughout the United States and the world at large.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported the reason behind this decision. Meltzer stated that McMahon couldn’t confidently say that they could do the show and the uncertainty about the next few months was a major reason why the date for the show hasn’t changed.

Meltzer stated that McMahon wanted to get this out of the way and that this will be a completely different WrestleMania.

For the first time in history, the Show of Shows will happen in front of no audience at all. This news has devastated wrestling fans across the globe and saddened the Superstars for whom being booked for WrestleMania is a dream come true.
