The Super Showdown event brought a big surprise for fans as Goldberg managed to defeat the Fiend for the Universal Championship in the main event of the event.
Dave Meltzer talked about Goldberg on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio and revealed what the company is planning for him at WrestleMania.
Roman Reigns also won his match at Super Showdown and Meltzer revealed the plan now is for Reigns to face Goldberg for the Universal title at the Show Of Shows.
It’s worth mentioning here that Roman Reigns was advertised for the Elimination Chamber match locally and Goldberg’s win most likely means that Roman will now win the Chamber match to earn the right to challenge for the Universal title.
