Though the United States Champion took on his Instagram account recently and revealed some details on his condition in the video as seen below:
“After Sunday’s Money In The Bank match against Samoa Joe and there’s still some issues that need to be cleared up after that 1,2,3, but due to the result at the end of the match I separated a little bit of my AC joint and we’re doing some PRP sessions here at the lab. Hopefully, this will improve.”

Rey’s status puts the fate of the United States Championship in question and the company has announced that they will address the future of it on next week’s episode of Raw.
Considering the controversial finish to the United States Championship match at MITB, it’s possible that the Officials decide to put the title back on Samoa Joe if the Master Of 619 is not cleared to compete.
