Rey Mysterio suffered an injury during a tag team match at WWE Payback. Since then he has been away from the ring but has made regular appearances on WWE television. Now it seems it will not be long until he is back.
Rey Mysterio appeared on Talking Smack, where he discussed his current injury status. He revealed that things are going well and that he is almost ready to return to the squared circle.
“I was concerned in the beginning. The procedure was slow at recuperating, but I’m already at 99%. I’m looking for bigger things to come. I eventually want to get this [storyline] over with — there’s a twist and turn with Murphy trying to get on my daughter’s side, and [makes angry sounds].”
It is likely Mysterio will continue to feud with Rollins and Murphy upon his return to the ring.
