Billi Bhatti: “If you sign a contract for one hundred dates guaranteed, there will be a downside of a downside which basically says ‘this is your downside guarantee provided you make X number of appearances’. So, it could be a hundred appearances for example, and it could be different for an NXT performer.”
Billi continues: “So, your downside is going down if you’re not showing up for work. To simplify it, let’s say that you downside guarantee is 250k a year. So, if you’re injured, what do you make? 50k. You make 50k. Nobody’s above that. Rey Mysterio had a year where he made around 50k. That’s seen as like, money you can live on while you rehab. So, that’s and example of a 250k contract.”
