Rey Mysterio talks likelihood of Dominik wearing mask in WWE

Rey Mysterio has competed in various promotions all over the world, in a career spanning over three decades. He is one of the most popular luchadors of all time and adheres to the rules of the Lucha wrestling world. His son Dominik Mysterio has not worn any mask, which is usually the case for all luchadors. Many fans have been wondering whether Dominik will ever wear one.

The Master Of The 619 recently spoke on the Not About Wrestling podcast, where he talked about his in-ring attire, especially his mask. During the conversation, Mysterio was then asked whether his son Dominik will don a mask as well somewhere down the line in the company.

Mysterio said that he wants to incorporate a mask in any way possible so that Dominik would carry on the legacy.

“Yes, as a matter of fact there was. The only issue was that he was getting so much promotion without the mask, prior to him starting to wrestle. When I did my storyline with Samoa Joe with Brock and we just felt maybe it might be a little too late to mask him now. We’ve talked about it. We would love to incorporate the mask somehow someway, so the legacy continues. Even if they know his face already. We can start a trend where Dominick is outside the ring and Dominick Mysterio is inside the ring.”
