Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building. It has been speculated that Banks and Naomi reportedly won’t be fired.

It has been recently noted on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown that Sasha Banks and Naomi have also been indefinitely suspended from WWE and had their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles stripped. Even their merchandise was pulled from the online shop. Pat McAfee recently spoke about the matter as well.

Sasha Banks and Naomi contract would be frozen if not paid

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Banks and Naomi’s deals are not believed to have been frozen if they aren’t getting paid. Dave Meltzer was the first to report that they aren’t getting paid, but if their deals are frozen as well, then that could point to this becoming a much longer situation.

“A higher said they don’t believe Naomi and Sasha Banks’ contracts would be frozen if they’re not being paid.”

Naomi’s contract was running out while Banks still has a bit of time left. ‘The Boss’  hasn’t made any appearances on WWE TV since the controversial incident on RAW, and it’s not known when she will return. However, she seems to have other plans in the works. Her cousin Snoop Dogg and his crew recently appeared on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, where they discussed a project that they could potentially be working on with the SmackDown star. They didn’t provide specific details on the project, but it could likely be an NFT (non-fungible token).
