WWE Hall Of Famer The ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair has been regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots in the world of professional wrestling. He is also a man full of controversies and has had trouble with a lot of pro wrestlers and pro wrestling personalities. One of them includes WWE legend, Teddy Long. Bret Hart also previously called out Ric Flair for ‘flat out lie.’
One of the previous episodes of Vice’s Dark Side Of The Ring last year series focused on the infamous Plane Ride From Hell incident and it immediately brought the heat on Ric Flair, Tommy Dreamer, and others. Things have calmed down since then but it seems Ric Flair is still never afraid of speaking his mind.
The Nature Boy had punched Mick Foley in the face after the Hardcore legend disrespected him backstage in WWE. Mick Foley recently spoke on Ric Flair’s podcast Wooooo Nation Uncensored, where he recalled Ric Flair legitimately punching him in the face for not shaking his hand and being disrespectful towards him.
“He [Flair] went to shake my hands, and I wouldn’t shake his hand, and I said, ‘You want to sign this book for me?’ I had envisioned a lot of scenarios, and never once did I envision Ric getting up and punching me.
‘It never even entered my mind. When they were pulling me apart, Rhino was the main guy holding me back. He didn’t have to work very hard to hold me back because I wasn’t actually trying to make forward progress. Ric’s anger just caught me off guard, like I never saw it coming.”
