WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair had made some bold remarks on former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor. ‘The Nature Boy’ received some heat when he had predicted a few years back that Balor would never main event WrestleMania because of his size.

Finn Balor, the former NXT Champion is one of the top stars of the company. However, he recently slumped into the mid-card and also had a stint on the gold and black brand in the recent past.
Flair was recently released from his WWE contract after he had requested. It was granted in the last week. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noted that the only reason Flair has not made any comments against WWE is to protect his daughter, Charlotte Flair’s career. He revealed that the former 16-time World Champion was very careful about what he had to say while he was in WWE. ‘Flair actually gave up his podcast because he got so much heat from WWE , from anything the slightest bit critical he said, including once saying he didn’t think Finn Balor would ever main event WrestleMania because of his size, and in hindsight, history has shown thus far that Balor hasn’t main evented WrestleMania and it’s very unlikely he ever will.” said Meltzer
We will see what is next for Flair, while Balor was set to challenge WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns but it got changed when John Cena signed the contract for a match with ‘The Tribal Chief’ at SummerSlam pay-per-view.
