Ric Flair gives his thoughts on Cody Rhodes destroying Triple H’s throne

Cody Rhodes

A particular event at All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing PPV was the subject of much discussion by fans online.

During his entrance in the match against Dustin Rhodes, Cody made waves by sending a message to the WWE. He got a sledgehammer and proceeded to smash a Triple H inspired throne.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair appeared on the WINCLY Podcast and spoke about Cody’s actions.

The Legend thinks that Triple H was the right person to send the message to.

“If you are going to make a statement, Hunter’s a top guy. Hunter is a disciple of the business and could not have come along at a better time in wrestling than he did. Then of course marrying Stephanie and he’s got a work ethic just like Vince has. In my mind, if something ever happens to Vince, God forbid, Hunter will be the one running the company. So, that’s how you get someone’s attention. You jump on a guy. When they are talking about you, you’re doing something good. That’s a good saying in this business.”

If the Nature Boy praises you, then you’re doing something right.

There’s literally nothing about Rick’s statement that alluded to this article. How the hell his his statement even relevant?

Of course, if you want someone’s attention, tell your boys not to whine about it when that person’s attention means they see fit to try directly competing with you.
