A WWE rep has told TMZ that Ric Flair is being prepped for surgery and is in a medically induced coma after his condition worsened following admission to hospital Saturday morning.
It is being reported that it is a heart-related issue but we have not had this confirmed.

2 Times WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair was reportedly hospitalized last week; however, there have been conflicting reports about the reason behind it.
After news broke out his Managment team released a statement saying that Flair was admitted for a routine checkup and there is no reason to panic:
“Yes, Ric is checked into a hospital for some routine monitoring. No, there is no reason to panic. we’d like to thank his fiancé & the incredible hospital staff who are providing the best care. No, we cannot answer any personal questions. Yes, Ric would want you to go out and have a great weekend … Nature Boy style!”
However, a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet claims that Ric was hospitalised due to some heart issues and he was taken to ICU after being admitted by his family.
Interestingly, Melinda Morris, an agent of the former WWE Star later tweeted that the Nature Boy is dealing with some ‘Tough Medical Issues’ and he needs prayers:

So far Ric’s daughter Charlotte Flair has been quiet on the issue and she is yet to make any comments on these conflicting reports. We’ll keep you updated on the situation.
