WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry Lawler is one of the most beloved pro wrestlers of all time, as he was the voice of many generations. He continues to work as an active pro wrestler even now.
Jerry Lawler has had medical issues over the past several years. This included the time in 2012 where he almost lost his life after suffering a heart attack during an episode of Monday Night RAW. Michael Cole was present during the shocking incident and held down the fort well.
Lawler was rushed to the hospital after having a medical emergency on Monday. He is currently at a hospital in the Fort Myers, Florida, where he owns a condo in the same area.
Ricky Morton took to Twitter today and wished his friend all the best for his health. Ric Flair also took to Twitter and made it clear that he is praying for Jerry Lawler’s betterment.
We Are Praying For You
Ric Flair recently talked about a wide range of topics on his To Be The Man podcast.
During it, he was asked to name the worst match of his career. While he couldn’t do that, he did recall having bad matches in the Kansas City area.
“Oh gosh, I had a lot of bad ones. I had a lot of stinkers. I think it was one it was, it would have been somewhere in the Kansas City territory wrestling against someone that hadn’t wrestled an hour, and that list is too long to point out anybody.
“I mean, I can’t even say they were passable. I’ll tell you the truth, I’ve had some stinkers, trust me. And I don’t want to point anybody out but I am just trying to think. I can’t name one person, but trust me, I’ve had some stinkers.”
