Last night’s (Mon. February 25, 2019) episode of Monday Night RAW ended with an interesting twist.
Batista made his return to WWE TV by attacking the 70-year-old two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair. Flair was supposed to be celebrating his birthday on RAW with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Sting, Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels, and more. However, Flair never made it out to the ring, as he was ambushed in his locker room by Batista.
“The Animal” looked into the camera after dragging Flair’s still body out of his locker room and called out Triple H. Batista asked “The Game”, “do I have your attention now?” It has long been rumored that Batista wants one more WrestleMania program with Triple H before finally retiring from professional wrestling. WWE might just be setting up for that angle this year.
Flair took to Twitter shortly after his attack to address Batista’s ambush. He had this to say:
