WWE Hall Of Famer The ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair is definitely one of the all-time greatest pro wrestlers to have walked on the planet. He is also a man full of controversies and has had trouble with a lot of pro wrestlers and pro wrestling personalities. Ric Flair is also returning for a match in 2022.
One of the previous episodes of Vice’s Dark Side Of The Ring series focused on the infamous Plane Ride From Hell incident and it immediately brought heat on Ric Flair, Tommy Dreamer and others. It seems Ric Flair is not out of the dog house just yet.
Ric Flair recently took to Twitter and stated that he did not leave WWE because of Vince McMahon.
Just Having Fun And Sharing Memories Does Not Imply I’m Looking For A Job! I Left One Great Company & It Wasn’t Because Of @VinceMcMahon! And I’m Not Going To Work For Another Great One, And It’s Not Because Of @TonyKhan! It’s As Simple As That.
Ric Flair also recently spoke on his Wooo Nation Uncensored podcast, where he revealed that he prefers dying to ever spending a month in the ICU again.
‘I’m in better shape now than I was when Sting and I wrestled the last match on Nitro. WWE won’t let me do anything, even though I’m released. I understand, they have so much liability and I told them I would sign anything, but nobody wants me to die on their watch. I’d rather die in the ring. If I have to go. I’d rather not jump off the 19th floor or spend another 31 days in the ICU.”
