The former Cruiserweight Champion has certainly had a lot of ups and downs in the past few months. In December, Rich Swann was poised to take on Enzo Amore for the WWE Cruiserweight Title, but after his arrest in December, Swann and WWE decided to part ways in February.
Since his departure, Swann has taken some independent bookings and is scheduled to appear for The Crash Lucha Libre and Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore later this year. However, it seems that 2018 will be the final year of Swann’s wrestling career.
After all the bookings ive taken im so scared to step in the ring but i cant wait lol. But after there done i will be retiring. Thank you for taking the chance on my name

Rich Swann took to Twitter on March 8th to let the wrestling world know that he plans to retire later this year.
At 27 years old, it’s kind of shocking to see him hang up his boots now. It’s sad to see someone so young retire, but it seems Swann has made up his mind.
