While Rich Swann’s 2018 didn’t exactly start off with a bang, his past seems to be behind him. In a recent media call, Swann discussed joining Impact Wrestling and his relationship with his wife.
His past and allegations against him:
Right now, my wife and I are living a happy life. And right now, we would like to let you know, forget about the past and focus on our present and the future. Focus on the positivity and have our careers be on the up and up. That’s all I have to say on that situation.
Jumping to Impact Wrestling:
We’re looking to do business together and see where the future takes us. Jake Crist is one of the greatest wrestlers today. Me and him would set the world on fire if we could have an opening match at Slammiversary.
Swann also revealed that his dream opponent is Sami Callihan, the leader of Jake Crist and oVe.
Rich Swann was set to take on then-Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore for the title when the allegations arose. It seemed that his career was over afterward when he claimed that he was retiring from in-ring competition. However, it looks like his career has been rejuvenated thanks to the ever growing and improving Impact Wrestling.
