There is no doubt that The Rock is still regarded as of the most popular pro wrestlers in the history of the business, but his plans for a WrestleMania 32 match appeared to sabotage Sting’s debut against Triple H. He has competed against the best of the best as far as the world of professional wrestling. This includes someone like Chris Jericho, who has had several matches against The Great One. The Rock also made a name for himself as a movie star in Hollywood. He recently portrayed the role of Black Adam in the DC movie of the same name. However, the movie ended up being a box office flop.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Rob Gronkowski revealed that if he ever does decide to go to WWE, he wants to either face The Rock or form a tag team with The Brahma Bull.
“There would definitely be a tag team match. No doubt about that. I just love that tag team aspect of everything. You know, it’s my first time, so I really wouldn’t want to be on my own doing a one-on-one match. I’ll be able to get help. You know, grow into that role of maybe going doing a one-on-one match after a couple of tag teams.
My tag team partner can help me out with those moves and all that good stuff. But who would it be [against]? I’m getting put on the spot. It’d be pretty cool to have The Rock come back and either face The Rock or have him as my tag team partner.”
