There have been reports that the former WWE star was stripped off the ECW Championship and WWE Championship back in 2006 after he was pulled over by the police as they found drugs. Following this incident, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had taken away the titles from RVD.
RVD opens up on Vince McMahon

Recently one of the fans on Twitter highly criticized Vince about ruining the lives of several WWE talents and included RVD in that list as well.
However, RVD was quick to respond and defended his former boss. He replied:
“You’ve all been “conditioned” to feel that way. As a nonconformist, I consider things before I take them as fact. If I swallow 50 somas & wash it down with vodka this afternoon at home, on the road, even in an arena, don’t any of you dare blame

RVD was undoubtedly one of the best stars during his stint in the company and he was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
