ROH re-signs former NXT star

After securing Marty Scurll to a multi-year contract, Ring Of Honor seems to have signed another big name, this time in a former NXT star.

PWinsider is reporting that former WWE star and founding member of the Nexus stable, PJ Black has signed a new multi-year deal with the promotion.

Black made his ROH debut in 2018 when he took part in the Survival of the Fittest tournament. He then signed a contract with the company in February last year.

Known as Justin Gabriel in WWE, Black was a participant in the first season of NXT and he stayed with the company from 2008 to 2015.

He had revealed recently that he had an offer to go back to NXT last year but he was offered the same money for 200 more dates. So it was a no brainer for him to sign with ROH where he also has creative freedom.
