Roman Reigns honors National Cancer Survivors Day

Reigns recently took to his Instagram account and posted a video clip where he is seen joining few of his fans who he had met back in 2019 to support the LLS children intiatives in order to provide better treatments.

He captioned:

“In honor of #NationalCancerSurvivorsDay, I caught up with my friends Gio, Savanna, Hunter, Connor and King for a virtual reunion. We met back in 2019 to support the LLS children initiatives to help find better treatments and provide support to patients and their families. These superstars have an amazing journey ahead of them and looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for them. #NCSD2021.”

Back in 2018, Reigns had announced his hiatus and revealed that his leukemia had returned after 11 years of privately battling it and being in remission. Reigns was first diagnosed in May 2007 when he was signed to the Minnesota Vikings, and went into remission around two years after the initial diagnosis.

Following the hiatus, he made his return in 2019. He is currently having a great run being the WWE Universal Champion and could potentially defend his title against Jimmy Uso at Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.
