YouTube personality turned professional boxer Logan Paul is currently one of the most popular celebrities in the world right now. He was involved in a storyline in WWE back in 2021, as he was in Sami Zayn’s corner for his match against former WWE Universal champion Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37. Logan Paul also recently leaked a bad Randy Orton text message.
He was involved in a feud with The Mysterios, as he was teaming up with The Miz, the former two-time WWE Champion and former multi-time WWE Intercontinental champion, and set to square off against the father and son combination of Rey and Dominik Mysterio in a tag team match at WWE WrestleMania 38. That ended up happening as the two teams duked it out on the Grandest Stage Of Them All.
Logan Paul and The Miz managed to win the match, thus Logan Paul would be successful in his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38. However, “The A-Lister” betrayed Paul by hitting him with a Skull Crushing Finale.
He then defeated The Miz at WWE SummerSlam back in July of last year. He was then defeated by Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. Paul then had a tremendous performance at the Royal Rumble. Roman Reigns poked fun at Logan Paul for hurting himself a bit at the Royal Rumble, saying he should ‘tuck his chin’ backstage, leading to every WWE star telling Paul that same advice, according to Logan on Impaulsive.
“The move, we both do a springboard…when this move was pitched to me, I was like, ‘is that possible?’ Generally, when I have that reaction, it’s a good thing because if it is (possible), it’s incredible,” Paul said on Impaulsive via Fightful. “I don’t think it’s been done before. The wrestling purists will perhaps come down on me for this, but I don’t think it’s been done before, which is what I like to do. I like to chase those moments that are really fresh and create that social media buzz. Mid-air, me and Ricochet clothesline the shit out of each other at 1000 miles an hour, and then, when we landed, because we’re falling from seven, eight feet, I crawl out of the ring, I have some time there to sit on the edge. Someone gave me PRIME, shoutout to that person. Got back in the ring and managed to finish it.
What I would say for Roman, in terms of what he’s done, it really is amazing in terms of the irony of the situation where he could potentially be standing across from me, but there are some things that are better than your nutrition, your conditioning, your ability in the ring,” Rhodes said. “Some things that you just can’t avoid. This is one of those things. This is a legitimate team that has surrounded me, a team of destiny and is someone who, I think at the end of the day, I want it more.
