Roman Reigns Canceled WWE Contract Revealed

Roman Reigns had fans talking about his future at WWE. At a WWE Live Event in Trenton, New Jersey recently, Reigns informed the WWE Universe about his decision about his career.

Reigns told fans about moving to the next phase of his career. He said he doesn’t know if he will return to Trenton again. He thanked fans for their support. Reports previously said that Reigns would not quit WWE any time soon, but he is not in any advertising for WWE TV tapings and Live Events that are set to take place in July and August.

A report from F4WOnline.com suggested that Reigns is not expected to take extended time off and he will be on premium live events and TV. But he will not appear at smaller house shows, which is why he extended his thanks to fans in Trenton.

Fightful.com said that their source claimed that Reigns is “factored into their creative plans for the foreseeable future.”

As for his WWE contract, WWE promised him a new contract in April 2020, Billi Bhatti reports on The Wrestling Informer. The plan was to beat Golberg and win the world title and then settle into a schedule where he will do fewer live shows for $4 million per year.

However, the pandemic changed these plans and Reigns came back in the Summer of 2020 to agree to a new contract.

Most recently, Reigns won against Matt Riddle to secure victory for The Bloodline at WrestleMania Backlash in the main event of the show.
