Roman Reigns could not appear live on SmackDown?

Billi Bhatti reported on The Dirty Sheets podcast that Reigns pretaped his segments for Smackdown last week, as he had a vaccine shot scheduled for that week.

Not many stars on SmackDown wants to square off against Roman Reigns, who is currently the WWE Universal Champion.

But it seems WWE official Adam Pearce, who is currently retired would not have turned down if he was to face The Tribal Chief.

Adam Pearce vs Roman Reigns?

It is noted that he was involved in a storyline with Reigns earlier this year. He was set to face Reigns at the 2021 Royal Rumble. However, he was replaced by Kevin Owens.  AJ Styles Leaks WWE Stable Breakup Rumor

He would be prepared for the match and come out of his retirement if he is ever again booked for a match against Reigns.

Pearce spoke to GIVEMESPORT’s Oliver Browning and made it clear that he is happy working in his current role behind the scenes in WWE but said he won’t turn down an opportunity to face Reigns inside the squared circle.

He said:

“If you come to me tomorrow and say, ‘Hey, let’s rewind to the Royal Rumble,’” Pearce said. “If that match was actually going to happen, there is no chance I’d turn that down. That would have been incredible. But it’s not something I ever pushed for or ever expected to happen. It’s not something I aspire to.”

Pearce had announced his retirement in 2014 after his career as an in-ring competitor spanned for 18 long years. We will see if he ever goes head to head with Reigns in the future.
