As we noted before WWE announced that Roman Reigns will be returning next week on Raw to reunite with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

However, at that point, it wasn’t revealed if Reigns was cleared to return to ring, leaving his status for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV up in the air.
Though now Pwinsider has confirmed that Roman has been medically cleared to return to action which means that we can expect him to wrestle at the upcoming PPV.
The site further notes that this is the reason why the New Day appeared on Raw this week and caused The Shield to lose the Raw Tag Team Championships.
While it’s not clearly stated, this likely means that the Shield will be going up against the New Day at the upcoming Non-Exclusive PPV Survivor Series
