The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman were spotted sharing a heartfelt moment following the headlining bout at SummerSlam Premium Live Event on Saturday night.
Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns shared a hug
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns were involved in a grueling battle in the main event of SummerSlam. ‘The Tribal Chief’ emerged victorious in a gruesome Last man Standing match against ‘The Beast Incarnate.’ Lesnar made his entrance for the match on a tractor. He had also used the vehicle and lopsided the ring, Reigns being inside the squared circle.
During the closing moments, Reigns and The Usos attacked Lesnar. Lesnar popped up every time he was knocked down to everyone’s shock. He was put under a pile of tables, chairs, and steel stairs that prevented him from making it to his feet. The show ended with Reigns holding his titles high and the medical team checking on Lesnar at ringside.
After the bout, WWE cameras seemingly missed a heartfelt moment shared between Reigns and his Special Counsel, Paul Heyman. One of the fans in attendance captured it on their phone, and the video started surfacing on social media. In the clip, Reigns can be seen embracing Heyman and then planting a kiss on his head in a heartfelt gesture.

Lesnar is likely to take some time off after his gruesome battle with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, but he isn’t done with WWE. It turns out WWE Day 1 will return in 2023 and Lesnar has been advertised for the event. At the start of 2022, WWE introduced a new event, WWE Day 1, kicking off the new year with a premium live event. Because New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday in 2023, the event will return and it will once again emanate from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, according to the venue for the website. Tickets for the event are currently listed as “on-sale soon” and as of right now, the graphic being used to promote the event is one that features ‘The Beast Incarnate’.
