It was announced during Raw last night that the Shield will ‘reunite’ next week on Raw when the Big Dog Roman Reigns will return to WWE Programming.
This announcement is not very surprising as we had previously noted how Reigns was expected to return to WWE programming shortly before the Survivor Series PPV.
At this point, it’s not known who the Shield will feud with after reuniting or what will be their role at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV but after the events of Raw this week it’s speculated that they will face the New Day at the upcoming PPV.
For those who don’t know The New Day appeared among the crowd during the main event of Raw this week which saw the bar challenging The Shield for the Raw Tag Team Championship. Kurt Angle then brought the whole Raw locker room to the ringside in fear of another invasion.
While the invasion didn’t happen, Cesaro and Sheamus took advantage in between this distraction and they beat Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to win the Raw tag titles. You can check out the complete Raw results here.
