Roman Reigns ‘Removed’ From Smackdown Match

Recently, Dave Meltzer posted on F4WOnline about how Roman Reigns could have interfered in Daniel Bryan vs. Jey Uso on Smackdown last Friday, but how WWE pulled him from interfering. A cage match rematch is set for Friday night., “Double count out to settle in a cage is a a set up that goes back at least 60 years and was done everywhere. Often it’s guys so intent with fighting and hate each other that they aren’t paying attention to the count. Daniel Bryan recently revealed who has a ‘Brock Lesnar’ contract in WWE

“The idea was to set up a cage. Two ways, Roman interferes, which they’ve done to death and then some, or double count out, which to a modern fan is a flat finish. Neither way is good for the show itself and the match ending. But for once they didn’t do the modern let’s do a cage match with no reason for it just because we want a cage match on TV.”

In other news regarding Daniel Bryan, current WWE Champion, and resident WWE ‘A Lister’ The Miz recently sat down with Renee Paquette, the former Renee Young on her podcast, Oral Sessions to recollect his now famous and highly acclaimed promo on ‘Talking Smack’ with Daniel Bryan. Miz told Paquette the following.

“It was a bad day for me,” he began. “So, I had the Intercontinental title, and I just got drafted to SmackDown, and that night I wasn’t on the show. I really wanted to make the Intercontinental Championship relevant again. I wanted to make it as big as it was when I saw it in the ’80s. It was literally the workhorse title, and I wanted to get it back to that.

Miz continued: “And then you walk into TV, and they said, ‘Ah, yeah, you’re not needed. We’re going to be on the dark match tonight.’ I was like, ‘You’re kidding, right?’ I hold this title. This title has been held by all of my heroes, and I’m trying to do something here but you’re not allowing me to do it. They were like, ‘Well, we’re introducing two new titles tonight on SmackDown, so we have too much going on.’ I was so angry that I went up to Road Dogg, and I said, ‘Put me on Talking Smack.’ He goes, ‘Why?’ I was like, ‘Daniel Bryan is the general manager. I’m going to unleash it all on him.’ They were like, ‘Cool.’” Kurt Angle revealed how he offered Daniel Bryan a match at WrestleMania.
