Roman Reigns Reveals If He’ll Refuse To Drop Title

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say in anything and everything that goes on in the company, for better or worse. Vince McMahon also sabotaged Jon Moxley’s matches.

Vince McMahon has been WWE Chairman since 1982 when he, along with his wife Linda had purchased WWE from his father Vince Sr and his partners, Gorilla Monsoon, Arnold Skaaland & Phil Zacko. McMahon saw various changes in his company over the last few decades as well. All through that, he continued to adapt to the changing times. However, many fans now feel that he is out of touch and simply has no idea what is good for a WWE Superstar. The WWE Chairman is larger than life in many ways and he also has his own peculiarities.

Roman Reigns would successfully defend his WWE Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio as well and went on to defeat Edge and John Cena in subsequent title matches at WWE Money In The Bank and WWE SummerSlam respectively. He then retained his title against Finn Balor at WWE Extreme Rules as well.

Roman Reigns was unable to compete at WWE Day 1 after testing positive for the virus, which led to Brock Lesnar winning the WWE Championship after defeating Big E and others at the pay-per-view. Despite this, WWE still has huge plans for Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns recently spoke on the SI Media Podcast with Jimmy Traina, where he talked about how he would react to Vince McMahon wanting him to drop the Universal Championship.

“It’s hard to just speculate on that. I would have to be in that situation to truly know where I was. I would have to be able to see all the different variables and be able to see the chain reaction and how it would affect everything. That’s such a tricky question, I wouldn’t know how to like honestly explain what my mindset would be. I am the man, yeah! He better listen, you know what I am saying. [laughs] He better acknowledge me, you know like who else is there, right?”
