Roman Reigns Reveals Sad Bobby Lashley Breakup

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently opened up on WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, who was previously a member of The Hurt Business consisting of Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin. However, the faction broke up a few months ago on Monday Night RAW, in a decision that is still criticized by fans and stars.

Roman Reigns talks about The Hurt Business

It was WWE Chairman Vince McMahon who made the call to split the faction. In fact, even Bobby Lashley said the breakup ‘hurt his heart.’ It seems Reigns also thinks they split up too early. John Cena Posts ‘Goodbye’ Message To WWE Fans

Lashley previously stated that there is a chance The Hurt Business could re-form. On top of that Bobby Lashley made it clear that he hasn’t given up on The Hurt Business just yet.

While speaking to BT Sports’ Ariel Helwani, Reigns was asked about WWE stars who should step up. Reigns said Big E should step up and then used Bobby Lashley as an example, noting that The Hurt Business broke up too early.

“I don’t think we have quite as many groups or factions. Bobby Lashley is a great example. The Hurt Business, that was a good group, you know what I mean? It may have, you know, broke up a little too early. I don’t know, I wasn’t part of that process. Bobby Lashley is a bigger star now, whether they handled that whole path to get there properly or maximize that? I don’t know, that’s not my business, because I didn’t make it my business. But I just still think Bobby Lashley is that WWE Champion, when that spotlight’s on him, he looks like more money than he does when he’s surrounded by other guys.”

Reigns successfully defended his WWE Universal title against John Cena at SummerSlam pay-per-view.
