Roman Reigns captured the Universal Championship at last year’s SummerSlam, managing to finally put the Beast Incarnate down. Lesnar would eventually reclaim the championship after Reigns had to vacate the belt later on due to the return of his leukemia.
Now that he’s back, it’s only a matter of time until he sets his eyes on the belt he never lost. However, in an interview with WFF, the Big Dog revealed that he wants his rematch at a much later date, and hopes to face one of his closest friends when he does.
I think I’d like to close [WrestleMania 36], and I’d like to wrestle Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship. I’d like to get my rematch one year from now.
