As per the report of Front Office Sports, WWE’s total Q2 revenue of $265.6 million exceeded analysts’ projections of $259.7 million. Their Twitter handle also shared a link of the report, using a picture of Reigns. There is no doubt that The Tribal Chief played a major role in WWE’s Q2 revenue generation and he is set to make some more headlines as he takes on John Cena at SummerSlam.

Earlier, WWE had announced a SummerSlam contract signing for this week’s SmackDown featuring Finn Balor and Reigns. However, after a heated promo between the two, Balor went to sign the contract but he was attacked from behind by Baron Corbin and he brought the contract back to the table, and went to sign it as Reigns looked on. Cena then rushed the ring and attacked Corbin. It was Cena who picked the contract up and signed it making the match between him and Reigns official for SummerSlam on August 21.
