Former WWE Superstar Nia Jax, also known as Lina Fanene, recently discussed her feud with Lana and whether her cousin, Roman Reigns, had any influence on the storyline. During the latter part of 2020, Lana became the target of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler’s aggression, and she was put through the commentary table by Jax on several occasions.
Their feud reached a climax during a Tables match on an episode of RAW, where Lana finally managed to turn the tables on the powerhouse by putting her through the table. Jax recently appeared on the Ring The Belle podcast, where she discussed the storyline and revealed that there was a different ending planned for it.
According to Jax, the original plan was for Lana to put her through a table during Survivor Series, making her the ultimate babyface and Jax the major bully. However, creative changes were made, and the storyline ended up taking a different direction.
When asked whether Reigns played any role in these creative changes, Jax gave an ambiguous response, saying, “Who even knows that [laughs]. I don’t know. You know things happen, but what we did was we made the best out of what we were given, and I am so proud of her because she sold that position and did so well. I wish she put me through a table.”
Jax’s comments suggest that the changes made to the storyline were beyond her and Lana’s control. Despite this, she praised Lana for her performance and ability to sell her position in the storyline. It’s unclear whether Reigns had any influence on the changes made to the storyline, but Jax’s response suggests that it’s a possibility.
