FOX will be giving WWE a pretty interesting opportunity during New Year’s Eve. Deadline reported today that SmackDown’s Roman Reigns will be wrestling on FOX’s New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey: Live from Times Square.
Maria Menounos and Rob Gronkowski will be co-hosting the event which will feature performances by LL Cool J and DJ Z-Trip, the Chainsmokers, the Lumineers, Florida Georgia Line, the Backstreet Boys, and Tyga and the Killers. Gordon Ramsay, Will Arnett, and Jenna Dewan will also appear.
While Reigns is set to wrestle on the show, his opponent has not been revealed. Considering what we’ve seen over the past few months, the smart money is on Baron Corbin or Dolph Ziggler.
The FOX New Year’s Eve special will begin at 8 PM ET on December 31st.
