Roman Reigns WWE Fastlane Match Result Spoiled

Dave Meltzer confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Roman Reigns will retain his WWE Universal Title against Daniel Bryan tonight at WWE Fastlane, and Bryan won’t be added to Reigns vs. Edge at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns recently made a surprising Bruce Prichard demand.

“Anything’s possible but I did ask about that and that was a no a week ago. Not even a week ago, early mid-week.”

Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns’ Special Counsel, sees a young newly signed star as potentially being the next top WWE star after Roman Reigns.

He told Esquire Middle East, “Rick Steiner’s son is in the current PC class. There’s someone else that could truly become a huge star for the next 20 to 25 years. So there’s a crop out there of hot talent that’s ready to become the next generation of WrestleMania main events.”

Retribution will also be likely splitting after Fastlane. Mike Johnson said on PWInsider.com, “I am told that the end of that group is very close. I saw that Donovan Dijakovic is growing this hair back, so he’s planning for life after T-BAR.”

FightfulSelect.com reported, “Fightful has learned that there was a recent high level pitch for Retribution, likely leading to a split or fracture of some sort. We’ve heard that tentative plans were put in order for as early this week. With the nature of WWE programming, this could be nixed completely.”
