Ronda Rousey & Bobby Lashley Rumors Revealed

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer made it clear that this is WWE’s plan for Lesnar, and that means Bray Wyatt will, in fact, face Bobby Lashley after his DQ win at Elimination Chamber over Brock Lesnar.

“I thought every match [at Elimination Chamber] was strong, except the Lesnar match. The Lesnar match, you know, it was four minutes and had an explosive finish, it was a typical Lesnar match that they do. It was a way to get out of the match. Obviously, they’re going with Bray Wyatt against Lashley and they’re going with Brock Lesnar vs Omos.”

Ronda Rousey was not seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 back in 2019, where she dropped the RAW Women’s Title to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match which also had Charlotte Flair in the mix. Ronda Rousey also showed her backside in a photo with Becky Lynch previously as well.

Since then fans simply did not know whether the Rowdy One would ever return to WWE as they had lost all hope. However, their hope bore fruit in the end.

Rousey, who made her shocking and surprise return to the WWE at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event earned herself a shot at a WWE Women’s Championship match against the champion of her choosing at WWE WrestleMania 38.

The former RAW Women’s Champion ended up choosing Charlotte Flair as her opponent. She was also unable to defeat Charlotte Flair but then beat her for the title. She then lost it to Liv Morgan after the latter cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase. She then proceeded to win it back at WWE Extreme Rules. She then lost it to Charlotte Flair. She then came back and is now a tag team with Shayna Baszler.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE’s plan for WrestleMania is still to have Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler battle for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. He also noted that it was the plan for them to win those titles.
