Ronda Rousey Defends ‘Disgusting’ Tweet

Former UFC Star and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has not been on WWE television since WrestleMania 35, where she lost her title to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match in the main event of the pay-per-view, which also featured Charlotte Flair. Ronda Rousey’s return date was also previously confirmed.

Ronda Rousey’s original WWE contract has already expired. As reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract was set to expire back in April. It is likely the company extended it somehow as the belief is that she will be returning to the company.

During the UFC 264 post-fight conference, UFC President Dana White was asked about Ronda Rousey’s status. He revealed that he met with Ronda recently during the UFC 264 press conference and that she is retired and focused on new projects, including a television show that is expected to be huge.

Ronda Rousey recently defended Conor McGregor after he lost the fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 after suffering a broken ankle in the first round.

I’m amazed that as soon as you hit the ground you were already promoting the next fight @TheNotoriousMMA – I def wouldn’t have had the mind to do that. The other fighters, @ufc and media are lucky to have you.

She further went on to support Conor McGregor again in another tweet as well.
