Ronda Rousey Leaving WWE For Massive Company?

Ronda Rousey was not seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 back in 2019, where she dropped the RAW Women’s Title to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match which also had Charlotte Flair in the mix. Ronda Rousey also showed her backside in a photo with Becky Lynch previously as well.

Since then fans simply did not know whether the Rowdy One would ever return to WWE as they had lost all hope. However, their hope bore fruit in the end.

Rousey, who made her shocking and surprise return to the WWE at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble premium live event earned herself a shot at a WWE Women’s Championship match against the champion of her choosing at WWE WrestleMania 38.

The former RAW Women’s Champion ended up choosing Charlotte Flair as her opponent. She was also unable to defeat Charlotte Flair but then beat her for the title. She then lost it to Liv Morgan after the latter cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase. She then proceeded to win it back at WWE Extreme Rules. She then lost it to Charlotte Flair.

As per Giant Freakin Robot, discussions are underway between Marvel and Ronda Rousey for her potential role as Thundra in the forthcoming film “Captain America: New World Order.” For those unfamiliar, Thundra is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in 1972 and possesses superhuman abilities.

Ronda Rousey, who made her Hollywood debut in 2014’s “The Expendables 3,” has also featured in the blockbuster hit “Furious 7” in 2015, alongside numerous television appearances. Her achievements on WWE television include being a former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion, as well as the winner of the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
