There have been rumors that WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will be taking time off from WWE following WrestleMania 35. It was said that Rousey wants to take time off from the road and focus on her family.
It is unknown when exactly Ronda might return from her hiatus, however, it sounds like Rousey might continue to wrestle after Wrestlemania.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez talks with certainty that Ronda will be having at least one more match following Wrestlemania. Here is what he said:
“I would bet with 85% certainty that you’re going to see a three-way at Mania and you’re gonna see a Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch singles match in May or whenever the next pay-per-view is.”
Alvarez then goes on the say that he feels the Triple Threat Match between Rousey, Lynch, and Flair at WrestleMania for the RAW Women’s Title will likely be a better match than any singles match that Lynch and Rousey might have. He also states that Becky Lynch is likely to be winning both of those matches.
We will keep you updated regarding Ronda Rousey’s post-Wrestlemania status if we get to know more.
