Ronda Rousey PPV ‘Sabotaged’ By WWE

The former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey played a major role in WWE Evolution, the company’s first-ever all-female pay-per-view which took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York.

 


 

That event was previously a house show and WWE decided to make it a historic night for pro wrestling.

The former WWE veteran star Mickie James recently said that WWE could have done more for the event.While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Mickie James talked about WWE Evolution a bit.

She believes that if the company would have spent more effort in the promotion of the Evolution event, they it would have become an annual event.  WWE Money in the Bank Major Return Leaks?

Here is what she said:

“It was only really promoted for a month. The matches weren’t even announced but a week or two before. There was zero promotion or marketing.”

It was almost set up to fail,” she continues. “If there was as much energy and focus put into it as perhaps some of the other events, and made and highlighted how monumental this actually is, perhaps that wouldn’t be true.”

There have talks about Evolution 2 event and the fans have been asking for it. But the roster is currently missing out some huge names played a major role for the show previously. The likes of Rousey, Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, and Lita are all currently out of action.
