Ronda Rousey has received a positive reaction from both fans and the locker room since her in-ring debut at WrestleMania earlier this year.
During a recent interview with PWI Podcast, Rousey talked about a number of things and also revealed if she expected the positive reaction she has been getting.
According to the Raw Women’s Champion, she expected all the fans and everyone from the locker room to hate her and she was blindsided by how amazing everybody has been:
“Honestly, coming into this, I expected all the fans and all the people in the locker room to hate my guts from day one. I really did! I was really blindsided by how accepting and amazing everybody has been, and how amazing the WWE Universe has been, and how amazing everybody in the locker room has been. I mean, like, I’m really not hear for a quick paycheck, or some extra fame, or anything like that.”
Ronda Rousey is currently scheduled to face SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV this Sunday.
